In her work, Stella Wanisch examines everyday objects, questioning, shifting, and poetically transforming their form and function. These transformations open up a space where heaviness and lightness, possibility and limitation, humor and melancholy intersect. In this way, the banal becomes a carrier of meaning.
Through a precise shift from function to imagination, the relationship between material, form, and action is reconsidered.
